Madden's birthday is THIS friday! He is growing up too fast. We tried to take 3 year old pics and these were the result. He was tired and he is not into taking pictures at this age. They are still soooo cute! His birthday party is gonna be at the Zoo this year. I am going against my "rule" of only having "house/home" parties. I just think birthday parties are too big of a deal now for kids. They are so manufactured and soooo expensive. I vowed when I had Madden that all his parties would be my creative genius at work and would be at home. Well, that lasted 2 years. I had his first birthday at my mom's so all the grandparents from out of town could attend. Last year, we had a "construction themed" party complete with a dump truck load full of dirt to play in. This year we opted for the zoo because we went to a party that he absolutely loved about 6 months ago. He was really into touching the animals. Well, time flies when you're having fun......and when you have small children :)
